Hey everyone, this is a website devoted to the the band STUCK IN THE MUD. This is a local band from Rockville MD, and
was started in March 2005. STUCK IN THE MUD is a punk/rock/alternative band with influences ranging from ska to
grunge. Members go to either RMHS or Mclean

Jeremy B: Guitar, Vocals, Bass

HISTORY
In January 2005, Julian (drums) and Jeremy (guitar) decided that they should start a band. But they didnt
want to just have a two-piece group, so they started searching for new members. They first got Max (guitar, vocals)
who added some hard rock influences to the first primarily punk band. After a while (in March) they finally found Kaan
(bass, vocals). Since he added even more new influences to the band (grunge and old punk/emo), they became fairly
diverse (though they still stuck to playing alternative). The band was doing pretty well, and in Novmeber 2005, finally
chose the name STUCK IN THE MUD. Sadly Kaan left the band in the fall of 2006.
UPDATE:
After a long absence, SITM is back with new member KEVIN ALEXANDER!!! After playing RM Winter Coffeehouse, and
writing several new original songs, SITM is preparing to make their first publicly released demo cd. They are also on
the lookout for any shows, anyone with ideas please contact us!!!
